- Inter-rater Reliability Checks: Supervisors and RBTs may score the same recorded session independently and then compare results to ensure consistency in how data is being recorded.
- Direct Observation and Feedback: BCBAs must supervise at least 5% of an RBT’s total service hours monthly. This involves real-time observation (in-person or via live video) where the BCBA provides immediate verbal, visual, or modeling feedback.
